Roadmap

Here are some unordered things we are excited about. Write to us on X @lumobase if you think we should prioritize something here or something else entirely.

Developer Revenue Sharing

We want to enable developers to get paid for their apps on Lumobase. This will likely be something similar to Youtube but instead of views we will use a active users as the basis for payouts.

App Store

An official app directory will be great for users to be able to find, install and update apps.

Multi user and teams

We want to enable apps to be accessed by multiple users or teams. We will share information about the current user to apps so that you can build things like a project management app with comments and task assignment etc. It should also be possible to build your team once in Lumobase and then share access to multiple apps.

Partially public apps

Currently all apps are private and can only be accessed by the user of the app. We want to support making apps that require some urls to be public such as a CMS app with private admin area, but public content like blog posts etc.

Custom domains

We want to make it possible for users of an app to connect the app with a custom domain. For example using a website builder app and connect the finished website to a custom company domain. Or hosting the docs for a docs writing app on a docs.company.com.

User messages

We want to offer a way to send messages to users when certain events happen. This will likely be implemented as a generic messaging service that can both send in app messages, push notifications and emails etc.

Expanded services

We want to greatly expand the services that are auto provisioned and available for use - both to more Cloudflare services as well as to other providers. This includes things like:

• OpenAI API
• Durable Objects
• Cron Triggers
• Postgres
• Redis

Other things considered

• Community features (think a mini patreon with forum, donations etc)
• Custom payments for making payments easier
• Enterprise SSO etc
• Integrated third party account access (accessing user's google calendar etc)
• Referral program (enable content creators to earn money sharing links to apps)
